CASA's First Adoption Day

12 children officially joined their forever families November 17th at the first CASA of Central Texas Adoption Day. CASA thanks everyone who made the day possible, and the families who opened their hearts and homes to these children.

Annual Advocate Appreciation Mixer

Current Advocates were honored and new Advocates were welcomed at this year's Advocate Appreciation mixer, November 13th. Thank you to the McKenna Events Center for hosting this event at their beautiful facility.

Advocates honored at luncheon

CASA honored Advocates who had closed or achieved permanecy on their case within the past 6 months at the Fall Closed Case Luncheon on October 15th. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped us thank our dedicated Advocates.

Public "Raises a Glass" for CASA
Water turned to wine and wine turned into $4,000 for CASA at a Wine Tasting event on July 30th at the Courtyard by Marriott River Village in New Braunfels. It was the first signature fundraising event for CASA in Comal County and ended in success. Wine samples were provided by Winery on the Gruene and the owners were there to help attendees pick the best wine for their taste buds. The event was hosted by long-time CASA supporters Former Comal County Tax Assessor Sherman Krause, State Representative Edmund Kuempel, State Representative Doug Miller and State Senator Jeff Wentworth.

Attendees also showed their support by bidding on silent auction items donated by Allen Benjamin’s Salon and Spa, Bulverde Academy of Music, Courtyard by Marriott River Village, Gruene Door Restaurant, Happy Tails Pet Ranch, Maribella Designs and Two Rivers Yoga Institute.

Students from the Bulverde Academy of Music provided live music and hors d’oeuvres were donated by HEB and Carino’s Italian Restaurant in New Braunfels.

CASA also thanks Leaf Print Impressions for donating the invitations and special guests Comal County Commissioner Greg Parker and TexasCASA CEO Joe Gagen.
