CASA Day at the Capitol on March 27th was successful for our local program – volunteers and staff were able to meet with most of the legislators or their staff representing Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe, and Hays Counties. Thank you to the offices of Representatives Alan Schoolcraft, Stan Gerdes, Carrie Isaac, and Erin Zwiener, and Senators Donna Campbell and Roland Gutierrez for meeting with us to discuss Texas CASA’s funding and legislative priorities to further support children and families experiencing foster care.
