'Shave for a Cause' Fundraiser

Celebrating Creativity & Community Impact! A huge thank you to John Hardy with Divided Sky Roofing for his incredible creativity and unwavering support of CASA of Central Texas during his Stash for Cash campaign.
He teamed up with CASA to raise awareness and funds for children in foster care by shaving off his beard and letting you choose the mustache style he’ll wear next. Every donor to this campaign got to vote on a mustache style!

John is always thinking outside the box, rallying support, and inspiring others to join the cause. With the help of so many wonderful donors, he didn’t just meet his goal… he exceeded it TWICE!

A Wedding with a Cause!

“Our wedding day was filled with so much love and joy, and one of the most meaningful aspects was our decision to have our guests donate to the CASA charity instead of bringing traditional wedding gifts. As a couple, we believe in giving back and making a positive impact, and CASA’s mission to support and advocate for children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect resonated deeply with us. It felt right to use our special day to help improve the lives of vulnerable children and families in need. We are so grateful for the generosity of our loved ones, who helped us turn our celebration into an opportunity to spread kindness and support a cause close to our hearts. Thank you for being part of our journey!” –Amy & Robert Stinson

CASA Superhero Birthday

For her son’s 4th birthday, Veronica hosted a Superhero-themed party—with a twist. Instead of gifts, guests were invited to donate to CASA. Veronica even invited CASA to give a presentation, inspiring attendees to become superheroes for children in our community. The highlight? CASA’s own Jaime Hernandez, dressed as Captain America, posed for photos with the kids!
The event was a hit, sparking curiosity and conversations about CASA’s work and how to get involved. Veronica’s creativity turned a child’s birthday into a powerful moment of advocacy and awareness.

Veronica’s story is a perfect example of how you can turn everyday moments into meaningful impact. Whether it’s a birthday, a bake sale, or a community event—there’s always a way to support CASA.
